asian / romance

The “romance” languages are the ones that evolved from colloquial Latin. They were spoken by millions of people a thousand years ago, and are used by over a billion people today. (That's a lot of potential customers.) charges less than a dime per word to turn your web site into Spanish, Italian, or French.

The most popular “romance” tongues are
and Spanish.

(In fact, the etymological root of the word "romance" is "of Rome" (e.g.Roman speech). Major works (encyclicals, law) were written in Latin, but entertainment was ordinarily penned in "romance". Romance did not originally have a conection to "love" but to "common folks". While the "Romance" tongues are certainly separate languages and not mere dialects of each other, the similarities are impossible to miss, e.g.:

Elle a joué du piano à minuit.
Ha suonato il pianoforte a mezzanotte
Ela jogou o piano, à meia-noite
Ea a cantat la pian, la miezul nopţii
Ella tocaba el piano a la medianoche

(She played the piano at midnight.)

In the United States, Spanish is the de facto "second language", and to not provide your potential customers with information in spanish is to cede those customers to retailers that do! Every website we design includes Spanish translation of brief items (such as menus and captions) free of charge. (Longer documents are charged at a per-word rate depending on the length of the document.)

French is spoken throughout Canada, especially in Quebec and Nova Scotia; but did you know that it's also the second most common language in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Louisiana?

Portugese is not only the chief language spoken in Portugal but the official language of the 25 million inhabitants of Brazil.

So at a minimum, you aren't really reaching out to the entire Western Hemisphere unless your promotional materials are in English, as well as Spanish, French, and Portugese.
